is called as Conditional Sentences in
Future Possible Conditional form and
used to express something that will
happen in the future if the requirements are met. Beside if, the conjungtion that is often used is unless.
SHORT CONVERSATIONS:
A : Will you watch music
concert tonight?
B : Yes, unless it rains.
A : I won’t continue my study to a univercity unless I get scholarship. How about you?
B : I will continue my study if I find
part time job.
A :If you don’t come she will be
very disappointed.
B : I won’t come unless she calls me
this afternoon.
A : Will you return it
immediately if I lend you some money?
B : Don’t worry. You can keep my
words.
A : Will you go with us
tomorrow?
B : I will go unless I have
something to do.
GOING TO WEDDING PARTY
Aris : What is your paln this evening?
Ilham : I will
go to Rina’s wedding party if every thing runs well. How about you? Will you come, too?
Aris : I will
come if my mother gives me money this afternoon.
Ilham : What do you mean?
Aris : I will
buy a wedding present if my mother gives
me some money.
Ilham : You don’t have any money, do you?
Aris : Don’t make fun of me. How will you go
there?
Ilham : I will
drive if my father doesn’t use
the car this evening.
Aris : Would you mind taking me?
Ilham : All right. Speaking of that, do you know
where the party will take place?
Aris : It will
take place in the garden if it doesn’t
rain.
Ilham : And if it rains?
Aris : If it rains Rina will hold her
party in the hall next to her house.
Ilham : Okay. See you later this evening.
