This pattern also called Present Tense (Verbal). And used to explain general fact or fact (1, 2) and habit ( 3, 4, 5). When the subject He, She, or It so the verb added ending –s or –es (1, 2, 4, 5). For explaining habit , in this pattern often added adverb, such as always, often, sometimes, usually, rarely, never, seldom, once a day, three times a week. 

SHORT CONVERTATIONS:

A          : Rini always goes to school alone.

B          : Why don’t you take her to school.

A          : I don’t have a car.

A          : Do you know where he lives?

B          : Yes, I do. He lives at Taman Siswa Street 45.

A          : I want to go to his house.

A          : The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

B          : Everybody knows it.

A          : My mother doesn’t prepare brakfast.

B          : Who prepares breakfast?

A          : Nobody. We never have breakfast.

A          : What does your father do?

B          : He works at the National Committee for Human Rights.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Bowo   : What time do you get up everyday?

Andre  : I wake up at five everyday.

Bowo   : What do you do next?

Andre  : I do “Subuh” prayer, take a bath, have breakfast, and go to school.

Bowo   : What do you have for breakfast?

Andre  : I usually have rice and fried egg.

Bowo   : How about your brother? Does he has rice and egg, too?

Andre  : Yes, he does. But sometimes he has nuddles.

Bowo   : How do you go to school?

Andre  : I usually go to school by bus. But once a while I go with Tono.

Bowo   : Do you pick him up?

Andre  : No, Tono picks me up.

Bowo   : What are you activities in the evening?

Andre  : I watch TV and then study.

Bowo   : What time do you go to bed?

Andre  : No certain. If I have homework I rarely sleep before ten pm. How about you, Bowo? What do you do in your spare time?

Bowo   : I usually read newspaper and magazines.

Andre  : Don’t you somtimes play badminton?

Bowo   : Yes, I do. On Saturday evening.

Andre  : By the way, do you have a list of daily activities?

Bowo   : No, I don’t, but my father does. He is very discipline and busy.
